Our team at Polaris have over nineteen years' experience and are a leading provider of semi-independent accommodation and support for young people leaving care.
All our services are built around the needs of the young person, and we carefully consider their requirements alongside the objectives of the local authority to ensure we provide the right support. We offer both standalone and staffed shared, semi-independent accommodation for care leavers, with flexible packages of support from well trained, and professionally supervised, support workers.
Placing young people at the center of our service, we use evidence based programmes, combined with learning from research and the voice of young people and their families in order to drive our development. We are proud of our reputation to deliver the very best services for young people, working with a passionate team to build brighter futures for those in need.
Our services
We offer a range of services for young people and those who are leaving care. Our dedicated team are passionate about making a difference and are committed to providing a high quality, needs-led approach that enables young people to have the best chance of achieving full independence.

Placements
We have over 140 placements across over 30 Local Authorities. Our provisions can range from 24/7 staffed shared houses, standalone flats with floating support or 1 to 1 bespoke placements, among others. -
Support
Our tailored support focuses on 3 elements: practical, emotional and lifestyle, and includes bespoke action plans, created alongside the young person, to provide the support needed to reach their ultimate pathway plan. -
Independence
Our Preparation for Independence programme covers finances, housing, rights and responsibilities, health, volunteering, safety, relationships, running a household and employment, education or training. -
Accommodation
We offer properties that are self-contained, purpose built, and come equipped with washing facilities, cooking facilities and a fridge freezer. They are fully furnished with everything needed for independence.
